For 1969, all Cadillacs had the 472 V-8 engine that was introduced for the 1968 model year. It produced an astounding 375 horsepower and 525 ft-lbs of torque. In 1969, the 472 was the largest V-8 ever produced to power a passenger car.

Since everything was original when I bought the car, I began replacing all the stuff that was aging. This included, battery, battery cables, starter, wires, plugs, points, fuel lines, brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses, belts, power steering hoses, etc.

Gas mileage, you ask? Well, if you were to use this beast as your daily driver, you would go broke. I get about 9.5 mpg average city/highway on premium fuel.
